    Please say you’re going to take them out before it freezes solid??? Nice shot though…

      The fish actually stay out there all year round, their metabolisms slow way down in the cold water, and they survive the winter with no problem.

    I have a pond here in brooklyn and the great- great- greats….. of the most recent generation of goldfish are still alive after 3 + years of winter under the ice.
