This is a great shot. The translucence of the ice with the leaves below almost makes it look like the duck’s feet aren’t quite touching the surface. And I like they way their orange feet pop.
Joe – You are incredibly talented and I love the fact that nature is obviously important to you. My first choice would be the ducks on ice as I love the translucent colors that mimic the translucence of the ice itself! Thank you.
This is my favorite! I used to have a pet duck, but alas, I had no where for him to swim and I had to find him a better place. He’s very happy now with someone who has their own pond, but I miss him dearly! :0)
This is my favorite of the batch that is currently showing – but oh my – all your photos are amazing. Will there ever be an option to buy prints?? I am so thankful to Juniper Moon for introducing your work to us.
Hi! I learned about your website from Juniper Moon Farm’s blog. I love this picture – it just makes me smile every time I think about it (and it has much competition among your many other photos…) Thank you for brightening our days with your art!
This picture would look so cool on the wall at my cabin! We have ducks up here in the wilds of Minnesota but they are smart enough to fly south for the winter so we seldom see them walking on ice
This is my very favorite photograph of all time ever!

This is my very favorite of your photos… so evocative of the delicacy but stubbornness of water in winter.

What a beautiful photo–the light is gorgeous, and the ducks look like they just might be walking on air.
