I wish I could honestly say that I don’t remember the expression “get more kicks on Route 66” but I’d be lying. I’m surprised that the sign remains in such good condition in that wasteland. Billboards must have been made very sturdy in the last century!

It’s actually a new billboard campaign for a casino out in the middle of nowhere, playing on the old Rt.66 theme. There were several others scattered down the highway, but the model and its location, made this one the one I stopped for.
